Mark Bagwell

Mark Bagwell has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Their most recent position was as a Finance Director at Ascential, where they supported the digital commerce brand Perpetua during a global finance transformation project. Prior to that, they worked as a Finance Business Partner at Smart DCC, collaborating on cost forecasting and risk analysis projects. Mark also served as a Commercial Finance Director, Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, and Head of Finance at Interim Contracts. Mark has experience in the education sector, having worked as a Group Financial Controller (Interim) at Oxford International Education Group. Additionally, they have held the position of Finance Director (Interim) at YMU Group, a talent management company. Earlier in their career, they served as a Group Financial Controller (Interim) at Metropolis International Group and held various finance roles at Nature Research (Publishing), including Finance Director Japan & Projects and Vice President Finance. Mark Bagwell holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Coventry University, which was obtained from 1992 to 1995. In addition, Mark obtained proficiency in the Japanese Language from Coto Japanese Academy - Language School Tokyo and Yokohama, attending from 2013 to 2015.
