Patrick Carter

Patrick Carter is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate and commercial law. Currently serving as Senior Corporate and Commercial Counsel at Ascential since October 2019, Patrick has transitioned from advising the Digital Commerce business to focusing on M&A, Corporate, and Procurement activities for the Ascential Group. Previously, Patrick provided legal support to the Digital Commerce Segment, developing contracting strategies and negotiating agreements. Prior roles include Solicitor at Buddle Findlay, In-House Counsel at Westland Milk Products, and a Summer Clerk at Bell Gully. Patrick holds a BCom/LLB degree in Accounting from the University of Otago and completed foundational training in the NZ Army Territorial Force.
