Guillermo Martorell

Guillermo Martorell has been in the software engineering industry since 2005. Guillermo began their career as an Operations Manager at a Customs Broker in 2005, then moved on to become a Sales Representative for FIS Fish Information and Services in 2008. In 2009, they co-founded HTML from PSD, a web development company. In 2011, they worked as a Web Developer for Onetree. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Project Manager and Manager for Bonystar. Finally, in 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer for Ascentis Human Capital Management Software, where they are responsible for developing React SPAs, component libraries and micro-frontends, using HTML5/CSS3, ES6, Redux, webpack, sass, storybook.

Guillermo Martorell obtained a Bachelor's degree in Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics and Special Effects from Universidad ORT Uruguay between 2007 and 2015. In addition, they have obtained a number of certifications from various institutions, including Ultimate Courses, Udemy, Senpai Academy, and LinkedIn. These certifications include Angular Basics, Angular Pro, NGRX Store + Effects, RxJS Basics, RxJS Masterclass, TypeScript Basics, TypeScript Masterclass, React - The Complete Guide (incl Hooks, React Router, Redux), JavaScript - The Complete Guide 2021 (Beginner + Advanced), Front End Developer, Project Management Foundations, Agile Project Management Foundations, Learning JIRA Software, and Six Sigma Foundations.
