Priya Dhage

Priya Dhage has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and research. Priya is currently working as a Data Scientist at both Ascentt and Toyota North America since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Michigan-Dearborn from 2019 to 2021, where they conducted research on machine learning algorithms for 3D printing and developed prototypes using artificial neural networks. Priya also completed their master's thesis on predicting and correcting microstructure and porosity using machine learning and computer vision techniques. Additionally, they gained experience as a Research Student at Somnio Global LLC from 2019 to 2020, where they collaborated with a research team to develop process roadmaps and classification models for additive manufacturing. Priya utilized convolutional neural networks and deep neural networks to classify and detect cracks and pores in metal deposits. Before their research roles, Priya worked as a Software Analyst at Capgemini from 2016 to 2017, where they gained skills in mainframe technology and performed coding and development tasks using SQL, COBOL, DB2, CICS, and TSO/ISPF utilities. Overall, Priya Dhage has a strong background in data science, machine learning, and research.

Priya Dhage completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University, which they completed between 2013 and 2016. In addition to their formal education, Priya has also obtained several certifications. Priya completed the "Tableau A-Z: Tableau training for Data Science" course from Udemy in July 2020, and the "Sql - mysql for data analytics and business intelligence" course from the same platform in June 2020. Priya also completed three online courses offered by the University of Michigan on Coursera: "Applied Machine Learning in Python," "Applied Text Mining in Python," and "Introduction to Data Science in Python," all in November 2019. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in PROE from INDO GERMAN TOOL ROOM in June 2014.
