Célia Martins

Célia Martins is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in microbiology and cell biology. Since January 2016, Célia has served as the Microbiology & Cell Biology Lab Coordinator at ASCENZA Portugal, specializing in in vitro toxicology and adhering to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards. Prior to this role, Célia held the position of Technical Head of the Cell Biology Laboratory at the Departamento de Genética - FCM/UNL from 2008 to 2011 and gained undergraduate teaching experience in Human Genetics while supervising research projects for undergraduate students between 2003 and 2011 at the same department. Célia holds a PhD in Life Sciences with a focus on Genetics, Oncology, and Human Toxicology from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, as well as a Licenciatura in Biotechnology from Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa.
