Joonyeob Yeo

Joonyeob Yeo has worked in three different companies since 2021. In 2021, they worked as a Senior Research Analyst at Diteba, where they improved the turnaround time of experiments and enhanced the workflow of GMO department as a team leader. Joonyeob also worked as a Medical Laboratory Assistant at Scarborough Health Network Foundation (SHN Foundation), where they maintained the steady workflow for SARS-CoV-2 testing, decreased the case number of errors, and prevented delays in the testing. In 2022, they began working as an Associate Scientist II at Ascidian Therapeutics, where they achieved detection of RNA trans-splicing derived chimeric proteins and accomplished producing meaningful experimental results from two different projects at the same time.

Joonyeob Yeo obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biomedical Sciences, General from York University between 2010 and 2016. Joonyeob then went on to pursue a Master of Science - MS in Molecular Genetics from York University between 2017 and 2020.
