Elise Gafford

Elise Gafford has a long and varied work experience. Elise began their career as a Staff Nurse at Lifespan in 2008. In 2009, they took on a role as a RN Case Manager at Odyssey Healthcare, as well as Associate Software Engineer and Associate SQA Engineer at Turbine. In 2012, they moved to Jumptap as a Software Engineer, and also had a brief stint as an Application Support Engineer at MAVERIC. From 2014 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat, where they were a Team Catalyst (Agile process and continuous improvement lead) for Red Hat's OpenStack Storage organization. In 2022, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer (Big Data) at ASCO's CancerLinQ®.

Elise Gafford received their Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Brown University in 2003. Elise then went on to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania in 2008.
