Ted Mavraganis

Ted Mavraganis is a seasoned professional in production underwriting management with extensive experience in environmental insurance. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Environmental at Ascot Group since April 2019, Ted previously held several key positions at Allied World from May 2010 to March 2019, including Vice President and Regional Manager for the Environmental division in New York. Ted specializes in monoline pollution liability and combination pollution/professional liability policies, focusing on various sectors such as real estate, construction, industrial, and public entities. Earlier professional experiences include positions at Greater New York Insurance Companies as a Junior Underwriter and a brief role in construction management at DEMCO, Inc., working on the deconstruction of the old Yankee Stadium. Ted holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Gettysburg College, completed in 2008.
