Matt Toohey has a diverse work experience in the construction and engineering industry. Matt began their career as a Carpenter Assistant in Contractors Temporary Employment Services in 2005. Later, they worked as an Architectural Intern at Christian Bergum Architects in 2006, where they gained experience in schematic designs, 3D models, and site planning. In 2009, they joined Safran Test Cells, starting as a Senior Project Manager and then transitioning to the role of Regional Sales Manager in 2017. In these roles, they managed complex construction processes and equipment installations for large turbofan engine test cells. Matt joined Amcon Construction in 2002 as a Project Manager, where they oversaw commercial construction projects from start to finish. Currently, they hold the position of Project Manager at Aero Systems Engineering since 2018.
Matt Toohey obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from Montana State University-Bozeman, which they attended from 2002 to 2006. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Project Management at the University of Minnesota from 2006 to 2007.
