Ahmet Akyol

Ahmet Akyol is the current VP of Microelectronics, Guidence & Electro-Optics at Aselsan. Prior to this, they held various positions at TÜBİTAK SAGE, NATO, Havelsan Teknoloji Radar (HTR) San ve Tic A.Ş., and SSB - Savunma Sanayii Başkanlığı / Presidency of Defence Industries. Ahmet also has experience as a board member with Quantum3D, Inc. and HAVELSAN. In addition, they have served as the Özel Kalem Müdürü at Milli Savunma Bakanlığı and as a Yürütme Kurulu Üyesi at TÜBİTAK.

Ahmet Akyol attended Kocaeli University, where they earned a licentiate degree in computer engineering. Ahmet then went on to earn a Master of Public Administration - MPA from Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt Üniversitesi. After working for several years, they decided to return to school and earned a licentiate degree in public administration from Anadolu University. Ahmet Akyol is currently a doctoral candidate at Cranfield University, studying optics/optical sciences.

Their manager is Haluk Görgün, Chairman & CEO. They are on a team with Behcet Karataş - VP, Defence Systems Technologies, Nuh Yilmaz - VP, Supply Chain Management, and Hakan Karataş - VP.
