Deniz K.

Deniz K. is a highly experienced materials design engineer with a robust background in materials science and engineering. Currently serving as Chief Materials Design Engineer at Aselsan since February 2019, Deniz has contributed to both the Microelectronics and Electro-Optics Business Division and the Defense Systems Technologies Business Division. Prior to this role, Deniz held various positions including Senior Lead Materials Design Engineer at Aselsan and Postdoctoral Scientist at Bilkent University. Experience also includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at UNAM Institute of Materials Science and Nanotechnology, focusing on emerging 2D materials for optoelectronic applications, and a Doctoral Researcher position at PSI Paul Scherrer Institut. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from EPFL, an MSc, and a BSc in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi, along with a high school diploma in Science from TED Ankara Koleji.
