Niels Mortensen

Niels Mortensen is an experienced product manager at Asetek, having held the position since September 2022, focusing on performance in the gaming industry. Prior to this, Niels was the founder and CEO of BAKOBA from September 2014 to July 2022, where BAKOBA received the RedDot design award for its innovative construction toy designed for children. Niels has also served on the board of AB Åland from March 2016 to October 2021 and on the board of Copenhagen Business School from September 2011 to 2014. Niels holds a Master of Science in Strategic Market Creation from Copenhagen Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Aalborg University, along with military training from the Danish Defence and an academic background in languages from Frederikshavn Gymnasium.
