Laura McAnany

Laura McAnany has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Laura began their career at Newmont Mining Corporation, where they worked as a Process/Metallurgical Engineer, providing engineering support to plant facilities and receiving recognition for their outstanding achievements. Laura then joined Lafarge, where they served as a Production Coordinator and later as a Corporate Process Engineer, responsible for technical support and training. At Lhoist, Laura held various positions, including Plant Manager, Manager of Special Projects, and Corporate Technical Manager, overseeing operational objectives and leading refractory initiatives. Laura subsequently joined Ash Grove Cement Company as a Plant Manager and eventually became the Director of Learning and Development. Throughout their career, Laura has demonstrated leadership, performance improvement, resource management, and a focus on safety and environmental standards.

Laura McAnany has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
