Rene Sotomayor

Rene Sotomayor is an experienced production manager with a strong background in the cement and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as Production Manager at Ash Grove Cement Company since December 2019, Rene previously held multiple positions, including Production Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, and Senior Process Engineer at CEMEX from December 2011 to October 2019. Additionally, Rene worked as Production Manager at Vassallo International Group, overseeing operations in various departments including Quality Control, Planning, R&D, and warehousing, while managing a $7 million operations budget. Rene holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, earned between 1994 and 1999.
