Xiaohan (Essie) Liu has a long and varied work experience. In 2012, they began their professional career as a Research Intern for the Johnson & Johnson Bridge to Employment Program. In 2014, they were a Research Intern for Allergan, where they gained experience in histology, ELISA, data analysis, and technical report writing. In 2015, they were a Research Associate for Allergan. In 2016, they were a Pharmacy Intern and Pharmacy Technician for CVS Health, and an American Cancer Society Co-Chair at University of the Pacific. In 2018, they were an Early Development Oncology Research Intern at AbbVie, and a Clinical Research Intern at David Grant Medical Center. In 2019, they were a Clinical Science Fellow at Genentech. In 2021, they were a Senior Clinical Scientist and Clinical Scientist at IGM Biosciences, Inc. Lastly, in 2022, they are an Associate Director of Clinical Science at Asher Biotherapeutics.
Xiaohan (Essie) Liu has a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from the University of the Pacific, which they obtained in 2019 after studying Pharmacy from 2013-2019. Xiaohan (Essie) also attended Homestead High School from 2009-2013. Xiaohan (Essie) has obtained several certifications, including Principles of Clinical Pharmacology from NIH Research & Consulting in 2018, Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery from the American Pharmacists Association in 2016, CITI - Biomedical Research from CITI Program, A Division of BRANY in 2018, CPR and AED for Adult, Children, and Infant from American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in 2018, Pharmacy Intern from California Board of Pharmacy in 2016, and Pharmacy Technician in 2015.
