Lauren Burgess

Lauren Burgess is a dedicated professional in the field of education and counseling, currently serving as a School Counselor at Triad Math & Science Academy since May 2020. Alongside this role, Lauren has gained valuable experience as a School Counseling Intern with Asheville City Schools and previously at Asheville Middle School. In addition, Lauren has contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant at Western Carolina University and has held the position of Admissions Counselor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Undergraduate Admissions. Early career experience includes working as an After School Care Counselor at Triangle Day School. Lauren holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a Minor in Art History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completed in 2016.
