Jose Guillermo Torres-Acevedo MD FACC is a highly experienced cardiologist currently working at CardioCare & Vascular Center, Pavia Hospital Santurce, and Ashford Presbyterian Community Hospital since October 2017. Torres-Acevedo completed a Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship and Cardiology Residency Program at VA Caribbean Healthcare System from 2014 to 2017, after serving as Internal Medicine Chief Resident in 2013-2014 and completing an Internal Medicine Residency from 2010 to 2013 at the same institution. Educational background includes earning a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Central del Caribe in 2009 and a Bachelor’s degree in General Science from Universidad de Puerto Rico in 2005.
