Phil Strange's work experience includes various financial roles in different companies. Phil started their career as a Chartered Accountant at Ernst & Young Chartered Accountants from September 1983 to December 1986. Phil then worked as the Works Chief Accountant at ICI plc from 1987 to 1999. Following this, they served as the Finance Director UK & European Controller at Raychem Corporation from 1989 to 2000. Phil then joined CacheFlow Corporation as the Chief Financial Officer - International from 2000 to 2002. Phil later became the European Financial Controller at Dun & Bradstreet Europe Ltd from January 2003 to June 2005. From February 2006 to May 2011, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Dun & Bradstreet South Asia Middle East Ltd, where they successfully scaled finance, human resources, administration, legal, and facility functions during a private equity-backed MBO. Currently, Phil is the Chief Financial Officer at Ashfords Solicitors LLP, a position they have held since January 2012.
Phil Strange attended Ridgeway School from 1973 to 1980. Following this, they attended University College Cardiff from 1980 to 1983, where they obtained a BSc. (Hons) 2:1 degree in Economics & Accounting.
