Minyong Park

MinYong Park serves as the Regional Sales Director for Asia Pacific at Ashland, a position held since November 2012, where responsibilities include leading the entire Asia solvent business and overseeing people management. Previously, MinYong held the role of Sales Manager focused on the Korea, Taiwan, and China markets, managing key products such as BDO, GBL, NMP, and THF, which are utilized in various applications including semiconductor cleaning solvents and lithium-ion battery production. Prior experience includes serving as an Account Manager at The Dow Chemical Company following its merger with Rohm and Haas and as a Senior Account Manager at Ciba Specialty Chemicals, where leadership of a sales team in the Water & Paper Treatment Segment was a key responsibility. MinYong holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemicals from Myongji University, completed from 1989 to 1996.
