Pinar Göksaltik

Pinar Göksaltik has a diverse work experience, with roles in various companies and industries. Pinar began their career in 2003 as a Scientific Associate at ETH Zurich, where they managed the development and synthesis of chromophores and ionophores. Pinar then worked as a Quality Assurance Manager at Merck Group from 2004 to 2007, leading supplier qualification projects and conducting audits and negotiations. At Aenova, they served as a Quality Assurance Manager from 2007 to 2011, overseeing audits, training, and supplier and customer relations. Pinar then transitioned to procurement roles, starting as a Purchasing Manager at Ashland from 2011 to 2013, managing EMEA spend and focusing on basic chemicals. Pinar was later promoted to Senior Purchasing Manager from 2013 to 2015, leading a cross-functional team to optimize sourcing and drive sustainability initiatives. In 2015, they became a Global Category Manager at Ashland, specializing in petrochemicals and biofunctionals for the cosmetics industry, and leading a multinational team to enhance sourcing efficiency and distribution spend optimization. Pinar currently holds the position of Associate Director Procurement at Ashland, focusing on strategic procurement and supply chain management on a global scale, with a particular expertise in wood pulp furnishes, petrochemicals, starch ethers, polyacrylamides, and cosmetic ingredients. Pinar leads a cross-functional team across France, the UK, and Switzerland to optimize sourcing and drive sustainable solutions.
