Maria Johnson

Maria Johnson, LCSW, is an experienced social worker currently serving as the Utilization Review Manager at Ashley Addiction Treatment since September 2015, where responsibilities include conducting initial and concurrent managed care precertification clinical reviews. Prior to this role, Maria worked at UMMC Midtown Campus from July 2012 to September 2015 as a Licensed Social Worker, providing assessment, case management, and discharge services for various patient populations as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team. Maria holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Social Work from the University of Maryland Baltimore and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with honors from Towson University.
