Bettina von Zwehl

Bettina von Zwehl is an accomplished artist known for a diverse range of residencies and commissions across prestigious institutions worldwide. Currently serving as Artist in Residence at The Ashmolean Museum since September 2022, von Zwehl has previously held similar roles at notable venues such as the Victoria and Albert Museum, Freud Museum London, and New-York Historical Society. The New-York Historical Society residency highlighted von Zwehl's engagement with themes of youth and loss through a series of portraits inspired by historical collections and contemporary events.
