Russel John

Russel John has extensive experience in the automotive and technology sectors, currently serving as Executive Assistant to the MD & CEO at Ashok Leyland since March 2018. In this role, Russel oversees product management in alternate energy and leads a team of sales managers, managing key accounts with major fleet operators. Prior experience includes a position as Global Engagement Manager at HCL Technologies, where Russel managed strategic marketing initiatives and various projects involving innovative content technologies, generating significant business impact. Earlier roles at Ashok Leyland involved business development, product management, and after-sales service, where Russel successfully implemented strategies that substantially improved sales volumes and reduced operational costs. Russel holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Jamshedpur.
