Diya Kapur Misra is a seasoned leadership consultant and coach with extensive experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Currently serving as an Advisory Board Member for both Ashraya Initiative for Children and Child in Need Institute, Diya has held the role of Leadership Impact Coach and DEI Champion at THE POWER OF i since April 2016, where a proprietary model for inclusive leadership was developed to empower organizations. Educated at prestigious institutions including XLRI, INSEAD, and Hindu College, Diya's professional journey includes key positions at Korn Ferry and Cadbury India, showcasing capabilities in leadership consulting, business development, and organizational development. Diya also contributes as a Program Lead for up! SURGE in collaboration with XLRI CGEIL, which aims to enhance the representation of women in the workforce in India.

Ashraya Initiative for Children (AIC) is a community-based 501(c)3 organization that is dedicated to improving the lives and shaping the futures of vulnerable children in Pune, India by advancing educational opportunities, nurturing holistic development and building healthy, empowered communities. The organization has grown significantly over the last decade: today, AIC’s main activities are divided into four distinct yet interconnected programs: the Residential Program, the Education Outreach Program, the Health Outreach Program, and the Community Outreach Program. Each of these programs contributes towards AIC’s broader goal of providing opportunities, resources, and support for vulnerable slum and street children in Pune.
