Robert Brown

Robert Brown has extensive work experience in the offshore survey and engineering field. Robert started their career as a Trainee ROV Technician at Acergy in July 2007 and worked in this role until July 2008. Following that, they gained further experience as a Senior Base Engineer at Seatronics Ltd from July 2008 to May 2017. In this role, they conducted testing of electronic survey equipment, primarily used in the offshore oil and gas industry, and also supervised and trained new engineers within the company. Robert then joined Subsea 7 in May 2017 as an Electronic Technician Level 2 and later transitioned to the position of Survey Support Engineer from August 2019 to April 2021. Currently, they are working at Ashtead Technology as an Offshore Survey Engineer since April 2021 and was promoted to the position of Senior Offshore Survey Engineer in February 2022.

Robert Brown attended Robert Gordon University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons degree in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.
