Tony Avalos has extensive experience in finance and accounting roles. Anthony (Tony) currently serves as the Director of Risk Management & Finance at Ashton Thomas Private Wealth, where they are responsible for third-party agreements and supports the financial controller with financial statement and analysis preparation. Prior to this, Tony was the Head of Enterprise Relationships & Client Management at Amplify Technology, where they helped grow platform assets under management from $4.8 billion to $10.2 billion.

From 2015 to 2021, Tony worked as the Financial Controller/CFO for The Quantum, Element Management, Ashton Thomas & AZ Rattlers, overseeing financial statement preparation and analysis for multiple companies. Anthony (Tony) also managed the accounting period close process, including balance sheet reconciliations, P&L management, and journal entries. Additionally, they created and analyzed ROI models for company products and services.

Before that, Tony worked at Meritus AZ from 2013 to 2015, handling finance, accounting, and pharmacy management responsibilities. Anthony (Tony) prepared and analyzed financial statements, managed the accounting period close process, and conducted budget-to-actual analysis.

Tony's earlier experience includes working as a Finance, Accounting & Business Advisor at Synergy Business & Financial Advisors, LLC from 2002 to 2013. In this role, they focused on financial statement analysis, budgeting, cash management, credit and collections, and establishing financial policies and controls.

From 1994 to 2001, Tony worked in finance, sales, and product development at PCS Health Systems. Anthony (Tony) also served as the Regional Financial Controller - Asia Pacific at The Dial Corporation from 1993 to 1994, where they improved financial and accounting controls in multiple Asian countries and oversaw financial statement preparation and planning.

Tony Avalos has education experience in the field of marketing, product development, management, and accounting. Anthony (Tony) attended Arizona State University, where they studied Product Marketing Overview & Strategies. Anthony (Tony) then pursued further education at Harvard Business School, focusing on Strategic Product Development & Management. Finally, they returned to Arizona State University to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Accounting, with a minor in Business Information Systems.
