Richard Housewright is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and acquisition within the U.S. Army. As Program Manager at Acquisition Solutions, Inc. since January 2009, Richard has demonstrated a strong capability in managing complex projects. Prior to this role, Richard served as the Director of ARFORGEN Combat Developments at the Assistant Secretary of Army (Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology), where notable achievements included aligning business processes with the Army Force Generation model, significantly improving combat brigade equipment readiness, and utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance material fielding processes. Additional accomplishments involved developing a comprehensive communications strategy for a large workforce and responding to numerous Congressional inquiries, thereby enhancing budget appropriations and initiating key organizational changes. Richard holds a Master of Science in Systems Acquisition Management from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Arts in Management from the University of Maryland.
