Earlier in the career, Shehan worked as a Fund Administrator in Accounting & Valuations at HSBC Securities Services from May 2012 to November 2014, achieving significant milestones such as automating reconciliation processes and migrating hedge funds efficiently. Academic credentials include an ACMA, CGMA from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a foundational education in Accounting from St. Peter's College.
