Barbara Navarro

Bárbara Navarro serves as the Global Head of Research, Public Policy and Institutional Relations at Banco Santander since July 2022, while also holding positions as a Global Council Member at Asia Society and a member of the Digital Asia Hub Steering Committee. Previously, Bárbara was a board member at ASIFMA and spent over 14 years at Google in various leadership roles, including Head of Google Cloud, Government Affairs and Public Policy for APAC, where efforts focused on institutional partnerships to advance a Cloud First approach. Additional experience includes memberships in the Asia Cloud Computing Association and Asia Internet Coalition, and positions at NBC Universal and ClarkeModet. Bárbara holds an Executive MBA from IESE Business School, a PhD in Law from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and a law degree from Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
