Susan Jakes

Susan Jakes is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in editing and reporting. Currently serving as Editor in Chief and Managing Director of ChinaFile at Asia Society since August 2010, Jakes also held the position of Editor for ChinaFile. Prior to this, Jakes was a Beijing Correspondent and Senior Reporter for Time Magazine from 2000 to 2007. Jakes holds a Master's Degree in History from Yale University (2007-2010) and a Bachelor's Degree in History from the same institution (1993-1997).
