Jonathan Kolb

Jonathan Kolb serves as the Group CFO and Investment Director. He joined Asia Strategic in 2015 based in Myanmar and led the Group’s early efforts to establish its hospitality, education and service businesses in the country. In 2021, he relocated to Vietnam and is now spearheading efforts to expand the Group’s portfolio into new sectors and geographies.

Prior to joining Asia Strategic, he spent over eight years in finance, of which the last five were with Center Square Investment Management, a listed real estate fund manager, first in Philadelphia and then in Singapore to establish the Asian operations. Prior to attending business school, he worked as a commercial lending underwriter at Bank of America in Chicago.

Jonathan has an MBA from INSEAD and bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Accountancy from the University of Illinois – Urbana/Champaign. He is also a CFA charterholder and a registered CPA in the state of Illinois. He currently serves as an executive board member for Asia Strategic.
