Ellena Keani Tabbal

Ellena Keani Tabbal is an experienced professional in institutional giving and grant coordination, currently serving as the Institutional Giving Manager at Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California since July 2024. Prior to this role, Ellena held positions as the Senior Grants Coordinator at Outdoor Outreach and as the Development Intern at the Council on Foreign Relations. Ellena has also contributed to the United Nations Association of Berkeley in various capacities, including Finance Manager and Director of Finance. Additional experience includes serving as a Development Assistant at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, a Green Scholars Team member and Advancement Project Manager at Seaside Sustainability, and a Corporate Engagement Intern at Business Climate Leaders. Ellena's leadership skills were demonstrated through previous roles as Vice President of the Advocacy Committee at UNAB and a Congressional Intern at Victory 2018. Ellena holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Economics and Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, earned in 2022.
