Mary Young

Mary Young is a dedicated behavioral health professional with extensive experience in counseling and case management across various settings. Currently serving as a Behavioral Health Counselor at AACI since August 2022, Mary previously completed a Behavioral Health Internship at the same organization. Prior to AACI, Mary worked as a School Social Work Intern at Sunnyvale School District, providing individual counseling to elementary students. Experience also includes roles as a Bilingual Community Support Advocate and CSEC Advocate at YWCA Silicon Valley, delivering vital services to survivors of gender-based violence. Early career positions included job placement assistance at the International Rescue Committee and translation services. Mary holds a Master of Social Work from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Linguistics from the University of California, Davis.
