Cheah Wee Leong currently serves as the Director of Investment Banking Training at the Asian Banking School since May 2017. With a robust background in financial services, Cheah has held multiple directorial positions within CIMB, including roles in Group Strategy, FX and Transaction Banking, and Regional Transaction Banking from July 2003 to July 2015. Prior experience includes a Senior Manager role at Accenture (July 1997 - July 2003) and an Assistant Manager position at Citi (January 1994 - June 1997). Cheah holds an MBA from Anglia Ruskin University, a Chartered Banker qualification from the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers, and has completed various finance-related courses, including sustainable finance and project management certifications.
