Matthew Mihaylo Hum has a diverse work experience starting from 2011, when they worked as the Owner and Managing Attorney at Hum Law Firm, P.L.L.C. Matthew then joined Cronus Law, PLLC as a Partner from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, they became a Partner at Shot Ventures and also took on the role of Senior Director at J.Nelson Company -corporate development & capital funding, where they were responsible for corporate development, legal strategy, and capital funding solutions. In 2019, they served as an Advisory Board Member at Akos MD, contributing to the development of an integrated telemedicine solution. In 2021, they founded United We Cloud and currently holds the position of Director of Finance and Technology at Asian Corporate & Entrepreneur Leaders - National.

Matthew then pursued a Doctor of Law - JD degree from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law, graduating in 2011. The Asian Corporate & Entrepreneur Leaders, is a non-profit organization providing Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) professionals the opportunities to work together to enhance AAPI leadership in our careers, communities and the local government that we live and serve in. As the largest and fastest growing AAPI professional organization in the southwest, ACEL continues to provide its members with the tools and resources to further career advancements and to empower AAPIs to become great leaders as well as reliable employees. In order to achieve our goals ACEL offers a diverse range of professional development programs on the local level. These may include series of panels, workshops and seminars. ACEL engages its membership in community activities, an ongoing mentorship program, cultural awareness and professional networking events. As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization we also seek to promote the active participation of AAPI in society through community service.
