Branko Wehnert

Branko Wehnert is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainable finance, climate change strategies, and development project management across various regions, including Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the South Caucasus, and the MENA region. Currently serving as a Team Leader at the Asian Development Bank, Branko assesses climate and poverty-related data to develop impactful strategies. Previously, Branko held multiple roles at the German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation, including Business Development Advisor and Regional Director, overseeing projects in sustainable finance and economic development. Additional significant contributions include leadership roles at GIZ, focusing on climate risk management, microinsurance, and economic promotion in several countries. Branko possesses a Master's degree in Economic and Societal Communication and a certificate in Banking Business.
