Byeongjo Kong

ByeongJo Kong is a Digital Technology Specialist focused on AI and Data Analytics at the Asian Development Bank, where responsibilities include leading AI and data initiatives and supporting member countries in integrating these technologies. At MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, ByeongJo collaborates on natural language processing research, utilizing advanced topic modeling techniques. Prior experience includes roles as a Machine Learning Engineer at Onclusive, where a deep learning NLP algorithm was developed, and as a Research and Development Intern at NCSOFT, contributing to an Open Relation Extraction system. ByeongJo has held various positions in technology and IT management, including a long tenure at the United Nations ESCAP, supporting distance learning and knowledge management systems. ByeongJo holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT and has additional certifications in Business Analytics and Chinese.
