David Kruger

David Kruger is the current Director of Media & External Relations Division at the Asian Development Bank. David has over two decades of experience working in journalism and media relations in Asia.

Kruger started their career in 1992 as a Slot Editor at The Japan Times. David then moved to Asia Times in 1996 as a Copy Editor before joining Radio Corporation of Singapore as a Broadcast Journalist in 1997. In 1998, they became the Tokyo Bureau Chief for Far Eastern Economic Review and held this position until 2002 when they joined the Asian Development Bank as Head of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Unit. David remained with the ADB until 2009 when they were promoted to their current role.
