Neeta Pokhrel is a highly experienced professional in the field of water and urban development, currently serving as the Director of Water and Urban Development for the Pacific and South East Asia at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) since June 2003. Throughout a distinguished career at ADB, Neeta has held various significant roles including Chief of Water Sector Group, Unit Head of Project Administration in the South Asia Urban and Water Division, Principal Urban Development Specialist, and Senior Urban Development Specialist. Prior to ADB, Neeta was an Urban Water and Sanitation Consultant at WaterAid Nepal for a brief period in 2003 and worked as a Project Manager ESD at Lend Lease from 1998 to 2003. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Hydrology for Environmental Management from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from RMIT University.
