Nerissa Tay

Nerissa Tay currently serves as a Senior Product Manager for Big Data & AI in Sustainability at the Asian Development Bank since June 2025. Previously, Nerissa worked at ST Engineering from January 2018 to June 2025, holding positions such as Sustainability Lead and Manager in Group Strategy & Sustainability, where responsibilities included the design and construction of waste-to-energy and desalination facilities in Singapore. Nerissa’s early career includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at New York University in 2017, focusing on water treatment research, and serving as Events Director for the UCL Mechanical Engineering Society from 2014 to 2016, coordinating technical events and exchanges. Nerissa holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from New York University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from University College London.
