Rizwana Anjum

Rizwana Anjum serves as an Environment, Social Safeguards and Climate Change Specialist at the Green Climate Fund, focusing on Environmental and Social Due Diligence for funding proposals. Since November 2024, Rizwana has also taken on the role of Team Lead for the Punjab Green Credit Program in the Environment Protection and Climate Change Department. Additional roles include serving as ESG and Sustainability Specialist for Zimbabwe Leaf Tobacco and Climate Finance Specialist at Oxford Policy Management, along with an extensive tenure at the Asian Development Bank as an International Climate Change Specialist. Previous positions include leadership in compliance with environmental and social safeguards in World Bank funded projects across various departments. Rizwana holds multiple degrees in Environmental Sciences, Climate Change, and Sustainability from esteemed institutions including the University of Engineering and Technology, the University of the Punjab, and the National University of Singapore.
