Samantha Tongson Rubio

Samantha Tongson Rubio is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in international communications and digital content strategy. Currently serving as an International Communications Consultant and Digital Content Specialist at the Asian Development Bank since July 2022, Samantha plays a crucial role in enhancing the reputation of the Office of Public-Private Partnership through strategic communications planning. Prior to this, Samantha was a Principal Communications Specialist at BHP, where key communication plans were tailored to align with social value themes. Samantha also contributed to the Asian Development Bank as a Communications Officer from 2010 to 2019, focusing on content creation around critical projects. Earlier in her career, Samantha was a Senior Producer and Journalist at Channel NewsAsia, having produced award-winning programs that highlighted important social issues. Samantha is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in ASEAN Studies at the University of the Philippines.
