Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is the premier international institution of higher education and research in Asia. Based in Thailand, it was established as the SEATO Graduate School of Engineering in 1959. The only International educational institution of its kind, AIT has students from 50+ countries, and employees from 40+ countries. The institute is the recipient of the Ramon Magsaysay Award.
