Senior Lawyer - Indigenous Financial Services Matters at ASIC

Jessica Naimo is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in Indigenous financial services and class actions. Currently serving as a Senior Lawyer at ASIC since April 2022, Jessica advises on Indigenous financial services matters. Prior to this, Jessica worked as Special Counsel at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, focusing on class actions and advocating for marginalized clients. Jessica's background also includes significant roles at ASIC, where systemic misconduct in financial services was identified, and a history of litigation related to Native Title and land claims at Chalk & Behrendt. Additionally, Jessica's earlier positions include lawyering for the Council of the City of Sydney and at Henry Davis York, where involvement in environmental law was prominent. Jessica obtained a degree from the University of Technology Sydney from 2000 to 2004.
