Sarah Agar

Sarah Agar is a seasoned legal and policy professional with extensive experience in senior management and advisory roles. Currently serving as a Senior Manager, Senior Lawyer, and Strategic Policy Adviser at ASIC since September 2019, Agar previously held leadership positions at CHOICE, including Head of Campaigns and Policy and Manager of Consumer Policy, from July 2014 to September 2019. Additionally, Agar worked as a Competition and Consumer Law Adviser with The Samoan Competition and Consumer Commission in 2017 and gained judicial experience at the County Court of Victoria from June 2013 to June 2014. Early career roles include positions at the ACCC where Agar focused on compliance strategies and energy regulation. Academic qualifications include a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia and both a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of Adelaide.
