Rudy Farmer is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in VLSI design and ASIC development, currently serving as a Senior Design Engineer at ASIC North since 2010. Notable projects include pervasive logic simulation for IBM's CU32HP chip and development of SSTL I/O Verilog models for a Boeing contract. Prior to ASIC North, Rudy held positions at Sanctuary Wealth Management as the Director for the North East Region and at AXA Advisors as a Financial Consultant. Rudy's foundational career at IBM spanned from 1980 to 2007, focusing on various aspects of VLSI design, leading product development for large SOCs, and mastering digital and analog designs. Rudy holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in VLSI Design from the University of Vermont, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University.
