John Ealy

John Ealy is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in merchandising and category management within the athletic footwear industry. Currently serving as the Category Director for Performance Run at ASICS Corporation since November 2017, John leads the performance running category in the US, overseeing a team of 21 and managing footwear, apparel, and accessories. Previously, John held various roles at Under Armour, including Senior Manager for Global Merchandising and Product Line Manager for Run Footwear, where significant contributions included launching key assortments and earning industry accolades. Early in the career, John worked at Second Sole of Ohio as a Sales Associate. John holds a degree in Business, Marketing, and Real Estate Urban Analysis from The Ohio State University and is currently pursuing executive education at MIT Sloan.
