Rebecca Kimani

Rebecca Kimani has a wealth of experience in the IT and project management fields. Rebecca began their career in 2016 as an ICT Assistant Officer at Edge Systems Ltd, where they provided IT services and web design in addition to secretarial duties. In 2018, they became a Self-Employed Retail Sales Manager. In 2020, they took on the role of Network Technician at Wananchi Group. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Asilimia as a Project Manager, where they are responsible for communication between the company and its clients, collecting business requirements, monitoring the market and developing competitive analyses, owning team backlog and fulfillment work, and scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes. Rebecca also held the roles of Junior Software Developer and Software Project Manager at Asilimia.

Rebecca Kimani attended Moringa School from 2022 to 2023, where they studied Software Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Multimedia University of Kenya from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Applied Physics and Computer Science.
