Aida Kalantari

Aida Kalantari is an experienced professional in the fields of metabolic engineering and systems biology, currently serving as a Technical Program Manager on the Strategic Alliance team at Asimov since February 2023, after holding positions as a Senior Scientist and Project Manager within the DNA & Strain Construction team. Previously, Aida worked at Synlogic, Inc. as a Lead Strain Engineer, overseeing strain engineering and assay development for pre-clinical projects. Aida has also contributed to academic research as a Postdoctoral Associate at Duke University and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Chalmers University of Technology, focusing on high-throughput cloning and enhancing engineered strain performance. Aida's educational background includes a PhD in Metabolic Engineering and Systems Biology from AgroParisTech and multiple advanced degrees in related fields, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Plant Biotechnology from the University of Tehran.
