Liliana Wroblewska

Director Of Synthetic Biology at Asimov

Liliana Wroblewska has a diverse work experience in the field of biology and research. Their most recent role is as the Director of Synthetic Biology at Asimov, which they started in April 2023. Prior to that, they held various positions at Pfizer, including Associate Research Fellow from November 2021 to April 2023, and Senior Principal Scientist from July 2014 to December 2021.

Before joining Pfizer, Liliana worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from July 2009 to June 2014. Liliana also had research positions as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton University from September 2008 to July 2009, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology from January 2008 to August 2008.

Liliana's earlier work experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences from 2002 to 2003, and as a Research Assistant at The Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, Polish Academy of Sciences from 2000 to 2001.

Liliana Wroblewska obtained their M.Sc. degree in chemistry from the University of Warsaw from 1995 to 2000. Liliana then pursued a Ph.D. in computational biology from the University at Buffalo, studying from 2003 until 2005. Later on, Liliana continued their studies in computational biology by pursuing another Ph.D. at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which took place from 2006 to 2007.
